HTML codes for an image

Below is an image of a dog that was imported into the Canvas page, and using the Image Options feature, the alt text was added (Brown dog) and the image was resized to 150 width (the Image Options tool automatically adjusts the height to keep the image correctly proportioned).

width="150" height="139" is the width and height of the image

Let's add a border to the image.

Note the red text that was added into the HTML code for the image in order to add the black border as well as the padding (space between the image and the borders) that was added so that the image is not right up against the border. As was the case with text boxes, you can change the thickness (5px), the color of the border (black to the six-digit HTML code from the HTML Color Chart, and the amount of padding between the image (10px) and the border.
